Bike died
« on: August 21, 2016, 20:16:56 »
Hi All
On Friday I rode to work on my 2012 650 no problem, parked it up, came out later and it wouldn't start, it had been raining and had had a good soaking. I managed to jump start it and then replaced the battery the following morning. It started fine but then the following day nothing, dead. I checked the main fuse, found it had blown, replaced it and it blew straight away. Any ideas?

Sounds like a short circuit or such like, but let the brains here give their thoughts, I hope you can find and fix the issue asap.

You might want to have a look HERE  the water, and the battery and fuse issues sound similar to your problem...

Might not be the frame problem, but worth a look around there, and a bit fiddle!
