Dunlop Roadsmart 3's
« on: August 06, 2016, 22:41:48 »
Fitted on the DL1000 and they have transformed the front end from the Battle Wings, far quicker and easier turn in, mega planted and grip. The original fit Bridgestones are old hat ( But OK) but compared to the latest spec of tyre left way behind. I have PR 4's on other bikes and initial impressions in comparison with the new Dunlops, the Dunlops are in front by a good distance.  :thumb:

I put them on my S10 yesterday too. Havn't done many miles on them yet, but they feel good.
Now on a Super Tenere having put 64k miles on a 2011 DL650

I had a set of RS1's which lasted o.k, plenty of grip wet or dry. I replaced the rear with an RS2 which lasted less than 4K (it did do 2 dry trackdays). Replaced the front with an RS2 which is still going strong and the rear with an RS3 which is wearing considerably better than the RS2 did.

I have every confidence that I will bottle it before the tyres do. :)
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
