Prep for Spain trip nearing completion
« on: July 31, 2016, 13:44:06 »
I have been fitting bits to my newly acquired Glee since I picked it up on Wednesday.
Fitted so far:-
Powerbronze headlight protectors. Easy peasy to fit
12v din socket into left fairing inner panel
Givi Pannier rails. Took about 15mins
Givi top box plate. Took about 15 mins.
Fuel oval carbon exhaust. Superbly made and a simple fit.
Hand guards. 45 mins to fit, but wouod take 20 mins if I did it again
Baglux tank cover. 15 mins
mudguard extenda. 40 mins due to crap front mudguard bolts.
Just waiting on arrival of Airflow screen, side stand foot and a seat I have sent to Tony Archer for a re-sculpt.

Yes looks good to go  :thumb:

Think I might treat mine to one of those Fuel exhausts.... they look great on the 650.

It is huge, but there is rarely much in it when on the move. The wife and I have one pannier each for 'off the bike' clothing, tank bag takes her handbag, wallet, phones, tablets etc (so they are never left on the bike). I take a cycle lock to lock helmets to the bike. That leaves the top box for stuffing bike gear into when walking about exploring towns etc. It works well.

Heed crash bars and sump guard arrived today and they are now fitted. Took almost as long to unpack as they did to fit. There is now a World shortage of shrink wrap. Not complaining as they arrived mint. They are great quality and fitted perfectly. Went out for a blast before fitting them. My first proper ride as my test ride was in London! Very impressed with the stock suspension and handling.
