brake fluid change

I changed the fluids last year. As I was doing a caliper refurb I decided to do another. I cannot for the life of me seem to get the air out of the system. Used a bleeding pump, tied the brake lever overnight, tapped the lines and cylinder. I wonder if using the left over fluid from last year (hygroscopic in nature) is the problem. The bottle was tightly capped and in the pantry.

Has your bike got ABS ?, if so, they are a pig to bleed.
If not, try old trick of using a syringe and sucking fluid down to caliper, then bleed again. could take a few goes.

Yes it is ABS . I guess it is back to pumping again. I'll look like popeye after spinach when am done. All this after F1

If I was to change the brake discs on an ABS, have there been any horror stories on cheaper ( chinese/ hong kong ) replacement parts?

I would never use cheap parts on my bike, especially the brakes.
no I'm not loaded with cash, but some things are worth saving up for.

Had to change my very scored disks a while back. I was going through a set of ebc front pads every 8k miles. The originals lasted 17k. Cheap Chinese pads (Kayako) caused the scoring of the disks

Looked at the various cheap ones and decided I didn't want to put my life in the hands of some cheap Chinese cheese brake disks.
Looked on line and found front disks from Suzuki GB on ebay for £120 each for my k6.
