Image attachment rotation
« on: July 27, 2016, 11:52:10 »
I have added a modification to the Forum which should automatically correct the rotation of some attachments (only if EXIF info exists). It will not correct any images before the installation of the mod.

Have you done it so it takes the beak off ?

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

It won't catch them all. If an image has been taken on a phone and then saved on a PC in a particular format then that's how it will stay. The mod relies on EXIF information being included with the file.

I think I may be the only person left who actually uses a camera instead of a phone.

Mine is just on the phone. They look right on my phone... I could load my computer up and rotate them but that's too much effort :neen:

I'm with you Greywolf, 'phones is for talking on and should be connected to a house or some other such building.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

When you are most probably already carrying your phone - for talking and googling - and it has a very good camera, most of the time it doesn't make sense to carry another, larger box around as well. Then there's the tripod, cloth hood, glass plates, black powder for flash,........
