Clock
« on: July 29, 2016, 20:20:46 »
I haven't been able to set my clock for years, must be because I have a Power Commander fitted and O2 sensor is disconnected and have the red fault led lit all the time...?

Have you fitted o2 sensor eliminator plugs?

They will most likely sort the red light if you have not.

You have answered your own question . With the fault light on you won't be able to reset the clock.

There should be 2 of them, I think, certainly there are on the 2014 up Veek,  also there is an upgraded eliminator, the old ones have one wire externally crossing over the block, the newer have two, my fi light kept coming on as I had the old version, might be worth a call to dynojet to see if the  two wire one works with your bike, though turning off the motor with the key and restarting extinguished the light for a while.

Might be worth reading the error codes and seeing what's going on.

There is a wire on the ecu plug you can disconnect , I've done it on my Vee. This will turn out your fault light .

When I fitted a PC on my K8 Vee, there was no plug available from Dynojet or anyone else to disable the O2 sensor and I had to unplug a wire on the ECU plug. Never had any red lights or Fi lights.

As for the clock, disconnect the battery and reconnect it exactly at 00:00h. That should sort the time.

Leave it disconnected for a while or it won't reset. On a reset, it starts again at 0100 hours, or 1am.
