The word cucumber isn't the problem, it's the substitution of a banned Americanism by the word "great" that made that funny.

Pensioner boredom eh? I was looking through a bike mag and my eye caught an ad. for a 1960 BSA Goldie 500 at only £145.
However the mag was October 1966 Motorcycle Sport.
I never imagined that I'd still be reading that after 49 years.
Good read though all the same.
TT race results ( Hailwood Ago etc. and a nice article on Bill Lomas and racing Moto Guzzi's)
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Tax return time.
The tax man looks like he's going to let me have some of my own money back.

Sorry if the NHS goes a bit short due to this...
(Perhaps Google could chip in a bit more to make up the shortfall? )

(and a nice article on Bill Lomas and racing Moto Guzzi's)

My son went to fix Bills computer some years ago. When Bill found out I was into bikes,he signed one of his pictures and asked my son to pass it on to me.Nice bloke I thought.
