Bar Risers

Looking for a pair of risers - approx 20-30mm rise, just straight up not up and back.
Silver or black, colour not important.

Thanks

Cables will be fine. You may need to persuade a bit more of the loom out from under the tank and up by the headstock, but nothing major.

Think I found them

http://www.mandp.co.uk/index.php/default/universal-handle-bar-raiser-riser-kit.html

With the bottom of the risers being flat do they not sit funny in the original fittings because they're not round?

Nothing more than a 5 minute job to fit I presume? as for persuading the loom I presume there is enough play in the lines to do this comfortably?

I put 26mm on mine with no problems.

I did have to slide the brake line slightly further up the clamp on the underside of the headstock but that was just loosen, slide and retighten.

Thanks Martin, I remember us having a brief discussion about this a few months back where you sent me some pictures. looked very simple, just rotating a bracket 90 degrees, Good to know!

Infact...were those risers not the ones that Mr Diver is referring to? I think they came off his old strom and you pipped me to the post buying them!?  haha

ahhh, righto!

well, as I said previously:

Is this an issue at all or just something I'm thinking of to stop my self parting with a tenner? (yes I really am that tight sometimes )

Mine went with the bike to the breakers.

I couldn't be arsed to remove them when they only cost £10

But the ones you found are the exact ones I bought. The flat bit actually created a small void.
I had Goodridge braided hoses that were a little on the short side compared to the stock lines but still fitted OK.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

you've all been a big help. Decided to order some as I really think I need them. I have a long history of back issues and the very slightly forward stance I am riding in because I am fairly tall and the height of the bars I think is making it uncomfortable on longer rides.

will see how I go on with them when they arrive.
