Vstrom 1000 mods to date
« on: August 12, 2016, 18:49:07 »
Just finished a few mods before a 2up trip to the UK next weekend. I have decided not to use Suzuki parts so I can personalise my bike way I wanted to. Touratech rear rack (using 2 kreiga us30 tailpacks), Sargent seat, Acerbis handguards, Renthal  handlebars, Rizuma risers , G2 throttle conversion and a 16t front sprocket all this makes an excellent bike better for me anyway.

Hi. I have the 15 plate Titanium,,and was thinking of the G2 to get rid of the snatchy throttle. Its better after fitting the 16t front sprocket, but wondered if you can still fit the g2 if you have Suzuki heated grips fitted?
Thanks

I have the g2 and Oxford heated grips on mine. The g2 has a knurled finish on the throttle tube, I had to file this down a bit to fit the grips.  I see no reason why the g2 would not fit with the Suzuki heated grips.
