Vee behaved like my old dog this evening!!
« on: March 16, 2016, 18:18:08 »
To give the thread title some perspective, I had a dog that was nearly 15 years old and towards the end of her days I would be taking her for a walk and she would just decide to lie down at some random time for a nap/rest.......
Well my Vee decided to do that today!!! Went out for a lovely late afternoon bimble around the twisty b roads near York when I was crossing a busy "A" road the bike just went down and I had an unscheduled visit with terra firma! ###
No damage to me and just a broken clutch lever and some scrapes to the hand guard and crash bung....Dented pride and embarrassment mind. The Bike also seemed to gain another 200kg whilst picking it up in the middle of the 1079 with cars either lane waiting lol!!!

Oooops. Didn't you take the Anti-Gravity module with you?

The 1079 is a busy old road so you have been lucky to escape anything more serious there.

Glad you are OK.

Wonder if you hit diesel or oil? Main thing is you're OK  :thumb:

Yeah I'm thinking the front wheel may of hit a oil/diesel patch at really slow speed and just went from under the bike!!
New clutch lever ordered and I'll "borrow" some wet and dry from work to tidy up the hand guard and crash bung.
live and learn.....
