Electric Plugs under seat DL1000 / klv 1000
« on: March 23, 2016, 17:00:03 »
Hi ALL

very new to bike electrics but have several small (1cm ish) plugs, 1 under the seat and 1 under rear plastic on bike loom with caps on. there is also a larger plug under seat with a cover plug on it. Could anyone advise as to best way to understand if I can pick up power from these for 12 v sockets or auxillary items ? thanks

bike is a KLV1000 Kawasaki, but once you remove the fairing, it has Suzuki stamped all over it.

Many thanks for any help, I really appreciate it.

"very new to bike electrics"

I'd consider a Bigpie aux fusebox for simplicity and safety.

I would suggest visiting INTRODUCTIONS to say hello.

Then I would suggest not attempting that wiring in the way you mention and getting the Bigpie Box instead.
