Neutral wire

Which wire is the neutral wire on the DL1000?

Last Nov I bought a gear indicator and now want to install it. It is a simple one that works with 2 sensors with a small magnet in between. The installation says:

Black cable is for -
Red cable is for +
White cable is for neutral (0)   
Yellow cable is for the first sensor cable1,
green cable is for the 2nd sensor cable 1
Blue is for the other cables of sensor 1 and 2 together.

I assume they mean it is for when the bike is in Neutral (not in gear), so where does it connect?

It's blue wire with a black stripe running from the fuse box to the display.

So it comes from the relay and goes to the 'N' light on the instrument panel? Lots of connectors required methinks.

The diagram only shows the large connector in the left side of the fairing and the connector to the clocks. There's also a blue wire on the other side of a diode splitting to the gear position switch and the ECU. The bike has to have the side stand down or be in neutral to spin the starter motor so the ECU needs to "see" one or the other.
