DL1000 wiring diagrams

So, (heh heh heh), I just downloaded 3 (yes 3) wiring diagrams for the Vee. They seem identical with the exception of ignition switch and one having 'Position Lights' which I assume are what we call side lights and the hill billies call 'parking lights'. Am I right?

Anyway, the three wiring diagrams are labelled as:
E02, 19
E-03, 28, 33
E-24

Now what the eff are these numbering models? Which year/model Vee do they apply to?

Going through the diagrams, I found mine to be E-24. E03-, 28, 33 is the same as E-24 but without the 'pass' button (the grey button on the left hand switch assembly). I assume that is for America/Canada?

E-02, 19 seems to be K2-K4 (since it has a light switch on the right hand switch assembly).

E-02 is the UK model
E-03 is USA except for California
E-19 is EU
E-24 is Australia
E-28 is Canada
E-33 is California

E02 may be the UK model for the year '02 - '04 but E24 seems to be the current one for now since it shows the correct wiring, connectors and switches for the models in the UK at the moment. I assume there will be updated wiring diagrams somewhere that would show this on their country designations.

Others I have no idea about. Where can one get these classifications?

There is a list of model/country designations in the factory service manual. As was mentioned, E-24 is the Australian model. I believe the flash to pass light switch arrived across the board in 2004 models. I'll check.

From a quick check, that does appear to be the case.

Thanks for that. I mostly feel appreciated. Most people understand my purpose is the help people enjoy their bikes and to dissuade them from doing things that do harm, waste time or are not cost effective. It's only occasionally I run into people like this.
