Thanks for that. Going to fit mine (if/when I get them) behind where your camera is as I haven't got a cross member on my crash bars.  :)

to anyone who's managed to remove a chip that has been able to disable the strobe effect and only get 'high' beam.

Can you post a picture that shows the PCB layout, as I'm sick of the strobing effect and want to sort them.

looking at the pics of bigpie's manky inside view it seems I have the same PCB layout, but where mine is labeled U2, bigpie's is covered in crud.

I've posted a better picture before the crudding in a thread, just not sure which. I'll see if I can find it and repost

Edit, found it pre-surgery. I still have them in the garage if you want a higher resolution/clearer photo.
