DL1000 2004 belly pan
« on: August 21, 2015, 08:23:48 »
Hi blokes
can you assist, I have a 2004 version that did not have the plastic belly pan, I have now sourced and acquired one to fit but for the life of me can not work out the fixings!

I'm not a numpty and pretty handy, but this has stumped me, tried explaining the a dealer, asked if I am missing a fitting kit, he had no idea..................

Can any of you esteemed chaps/chapesses furnish me with some pictures (close ups) of the belly fitted?
Thanks in advance

Here you go, this is my 2006 plate Vee but I should think the fitting will be the same.

Ignore the wire you can see in the bottom of the last pic, it's from the lambda sensor, I've tucked it there are you need to unplug it when using a power commander.

Good luck with the fitting, if you need anymore pics just let me know.

So to conclude, I can report I am NOT a numpty, which is a relief, turns out my 54 plate DL1000 is actually a K3, as such the belly pan would not fit................

I now have a k4 belly pan to sell and the requirement for a K3 if there are any out there...
