Sounding raspy on the over run

So fitted my new exhaust on the Glee. It sound great but put the baffle in last night to ride with a pillion (save her ears) and on the over run it sounds really raspy.
Does that mean it's blowing? As in a leaky joint?

All exhausts are different, stick you hand over the end when it's running (cold of course) and listen for air escaping elsewhere on the unit.

Not necessarily.
A friend bought a Quill can once, that sounded nice when open but a rather horrible & raspy sound with the baffle fitted, IMHO anyway.
It's obviously worth checking for leaks but that's probably just how it is.
