Front Brake lines

Sorry if this is a daft question.
Read somewhere about installing braided front brake lines without the splitter feeding left and right brake. Sorry, but that did not make sense to me, surely they have to be split somewhere.

Hi,
You can have two separate lines running down to your calipers from your mastercylinder using a double banjo or you can run one line down to say the left caliper then also using a double banjo to loop another line to the right caliper .
Some people recommended the latter but in my experience to the average rider they will both do better job than stock lines .
