I've had my wee for about 31/2 months. I've fitted a set of michelin pilot road 4 trails which are superb. Now I hear of a people easily grinding there footrests when cornering. My tyres are scrubbed right to the edge and never had the pegs touch down. I've ridden sports bikes for years so I've got a fair idea of a good lean angle. So got to thinking that maybe the previous owner has highered the rear end. So wondered if anyone could tell me the standard length of the bones you change on the bottom of the suspension. If they are standard on my wee I think I need a bigger pair of gonads.

Thanks for the reply. Is that between the bolt centre's?  I've  got 140mm at the bolt centre's  and 175mm overall length.

Luggage. Lots of heavy stuff in panniers, top box, pillion. Bike sits lower, pegs closer to deck.

As above. How the bike sits will have an affect, also I believe the Suzuki centre stand has longer hero blobs for the pegs.

I have wondered this a couple of times as I have ground the pegs on a few occasions but with the standard peg bobbins in place. Did think about taking them off but the trainings are worn to the edge so maybe not.
