fuel pump exchange

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is any other pump I can fit other than the original one owing to the vast cost of it I ride a 2002 DL1000.
Any help greatly excepted. Gareth.

I wouldn't have been talking to a friend of yours with a Honda Varadero in Bridgend a couple of days ago?

My (now dead) DL650 is being broken by a breakers in Bridgend some time next week.

Tanks can be swapped from the DL1000 (996cc) to the DL650 (k4-K11)
So presumably the fuel pumps can too.

I know the tanks are the same shape as the RHS front is shorter than the LHS for the c-o-o-lant tank on the DL1000 yet my 650's c-o-o-lant tank was under the seat.

Yep you were, just got off the phone with him.I'll give the breakers a ring ang see what they want for the pump.Has anybody tried the cheap pumps posted on ebay .Like to know if they are worth trying.
