Hi All,
I'm in need of some divine intervention, or help please.
I have had my 2014 V-Strom 1000 12 months now and done 11200 miles. Was riding back from North Yorkshire yesterday and noticed that I had to push throttle off to stop it from revving up.
I have lifted the tank and noticed that the throttle link rods are not going back to their original position when the throttle is loosed. I have to roll the throttle off ever so slightly to get the throttle back to its normal position, thus normal revving.
Rightly or wrongly I have sprayed the linkages with a bit of WD40. I thought it might need a little lube as its done a bit of mileage, but its still sticking.
Has anyone any suggestions, advice please?
Thanks in advance.
