silicone coolant hoses
« on: March 17, 2015, 14:01:08 »
hello everyone been a long time I get there.

no issues so far I'm just enjoying my recently revived bike xD
I'm digging into restoring a bit more my beloved Wee

after the clutch basket and replacing the fork oil this last monday,I want to replace all the coolant hoses

I'm thinking of Samco because it seems to be THE brand to have for this particular parts. but they don't make specific kit for the strom. its TL/SV kit only.

is there any alternative brand ? and also is there somewhere to buy hoses in meter ? so I can cut it to fit the bike.

ps. here's my bike at its current state... if you feel free vomit your entiere breakfast ;)

I love it

thank you all

Hi Cowdenc - I cannot help with your question, but I wondered if you have been affected by Cyclone Pam that has flattened Vanuatu?

I know you are about 300 miles away, but isn't this storm 600 miles wide or something?

yes, thanks for asking but it was not really so much of troubles. a lot of rain and strong winds but for a short lapse of time. 4 or 6 hours max; we actually seen really stronger one years ago, I think about ericka back in 2001/2002. the outside door of my kitchen literally flown away, there's was a lot of water in my bedroom, and all the windows were about to break.... was bad time I can tell. my mother was so afraid. its terrifying when you see walls of the living room swells like their make of cardboard.... and I'm only living on the 4th floor of the building..... :rain:

Not great news, but it could have been worse so glad you are OK.
