sus-preload
« on: June 10, 2015, 09:42:23 »
Hi Folks sure this has come up on here before.

Does the remote preload adjuster have a stop on it? I havent played with it too much as I don't know how much it will turn and don't want to break anything.

Also how much sag do people generally ride with? I know this is prefference but a starting point would be good!

How much do people generally find they have to wind it up with an adult passenger? As my good lady jumps on from time to time.

Finally- For those that take theirs offroad, do you wind up or down or leave alone the internet is full of conflicting info!

from soft to hard there are 41 clicks.
20 clicks seems about right for me and 30-35 with pillion.
I'm 11 stone and the mrs is 10.

About 40mm sag difference between fully extended and fully loaded is a good target.

You need to establish the proper sag on the rear one up and two up. The front won't really change so leave it alone. Just establish the number of turns or clicks on the rear to account for the extra person and you can quickly adjust the rear between the two loads.
