Help! Advice wanted re sale of DL650 AK7T
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:26:49 »
Hi, I have just joined the forum as I am hoping that someone can advise me on the best way to sell my late husband's V Strom fairly quickly.  I have come to the forum as he used to be a member and say that you were all really nice and helpful to newbies  :). The bike is silver, 18527 miles and I have just had it fully serviced and valeted and am getting it MOT'd. As I really need to sell it fairly quickly would I be better just going to one of the 'webuybikes' dealers.

Any advice appreciated, and thanks for reading my essay.

Hi sorry to hear why you're here,

We buy any bike do so at prices even less than dealers offer as a part exchange price IMO, but will give you a worst possible price which you can then use when using the options below:

Most pounds to you option, take some pictures and post an advert on here.

Or on Ebay. Completed sales can give you an idea of what other similar bikes have been sold for.

Or, get a dealer to have a look at it and give you an offer.

Fastest is probably the one that will be the least money to you, but that might be better for you. Hope it goes well whatever you choose.

Hi, Thanks so much for the advice, I will take some photo's and post on here then if I don't get much response will try the dealer option. I have looked at bike trader and Ebay but the price ranges are pretty big I think I will start somewhere in the middle.
Thanks again for your advice. M
