49bhp wee
« on: October 01, 2014, 22:45:29 »
Hello there. Been a while since I posted. Thinking of downsizing to a wee and found one on e bay that says 49bhp. It also says standard bike so I'm confused.

If it is 49bhp, presumably to make it legal for those with licence restrictions, is it easy or cheap to return the bike to standard?

All advice will be gratefully received.

Cheers
Bruce

Not sure why it would have been restricted to 49, because the A2 restriction is at 47 max bhp (as far as I  understand it  which ain't very far I suppose!).

Maybe it's a typo ? Send a query to the seller maybe...

Aren't there different ways to restrict them? The ecu is the normal way but it could also be other methods. Check with the seller.

Thanks for the responses.  I'll quiz the seller. Glad it makes no sense to you either.
Cheers
