Foot Peg Lowering Kits
« on: October 25, 2013, 08:31:42 »
Hi blokes, here`s my latest item - a footpeg lowering kit fitting both the 1000 and the 650. Older Stroms seemingly 2003 and older need an exhaust shield modification (it needs bending abit!).

It seems a popular item but for the black version I do need a min order of ten before I can send them away.

They are now available on my site at the following link:

Simple but excellent piece of kit for the taller rider, I had the stateside version in my glee and it made agreat difference it worked out a lot more expensive than this item though.   :thumb:

... when Juvecu outs the bike back together.

I'm thinking of these, fancied the US option, but not the import tax.

Mine arrived today and look a well thought out bit of kit with nice simple instructions. Gawd knows when I'll get a chance to fit them but I shall report back.

Well I got a few spare minuets and fitted the lowering kit to my glee. The supplied countersunk bolts are on the short side for a glee so I bought some 25 x 8mm ones on ebay for a few quid along with some dome nuts to really tidy things up. Very pleased with the result and the extra legroom is most welcome. Heartily recommended as cheap and simple mod to make Your bike more comfy.

kids bought me a set  :) , but when I opened it up there was a little card with a little bit of copper wire ( bit like a paper clip ) and it says it might be useful for the brake spring    any other clues pls

It's to reconnect the brake light switch back to the brake pedal in the foot peg. Once you. Lower your pegs there is not enough adjustment in the brake switch to reconnect.

Cymarc,
any news on footpeg lowering kit for my DL1000 2014?
I'm desperate. The pain in my right knee is ruining otherwise perfect ride...
I saw on other post you asking someone to test Vee1 kit on Vee2. Did it happen? Will the kit work?
Thanks
