We buy any bikes . com
« on: September 24, 2014, 11:50:37 »
Thinking of selling my white Glee shortly, so thought I'd get a quote from them for my 61 plate 16 000 miles bike that has lower cowling, accessory bars and knuckle guards fitted plus a whole load of other bits, and their offer, which is only valid for today was just over £2300  lol

I guess I will have to think carefully on their generous offer, or maybe not  :auto-dirtbike:

If they'd reverse the 3 and the 2 I might have been more interested. Especially as I live north of Aberdeen, which might put off buyers down south, though there aren't many people north of us  :)

When I was selling my Tiger 955 I tried them and they offered me something like £2,000 for a bike I sold privately for £2,750. They rely on people not wanting the hassle of a private sale.

28% price difference   , and to be honest I'd rather keep a bike dealer in business making a tidy profit than them.

I didn't even know there was a north of Aberdeen!

You'll probably get pestered occasionally by WBAB now they have your details. I seem to recall doing a similar thing a year or so ago and having to opt out of the follow ups.

More sheep than people the further north you get, though Inverness is the exception that proves the rule  :)

BYW if you're passing through Inverness keep an eye out for defecit reduction cameras:

I found after getting a quote from WBACar.com that my spam intake rocketed and I was an attempted victim of a financial scam. There may have been no connection.

I think these two sites (the bike and car versions) are only for the desperate.

Ridiculously low valuations and you're on a mailing list from here to eternity. Just sell your bike the good old-fashioned tried and tested way instead.

Cheeky feckers. Although, you have to take your hat off to their low risk business model.
