starting problems

Hence what my problem was...  It'd show 12v + at rest,  but once the starter motor engaged it'd drop to around 3v...

It had been going for a while before hand...  At least it's something else I'd look out for in the future..

I fully charged a battery checked voltage,put on bike lights worked horn   Yet still could not start bike. Put new motobatt on and have not had problem since.

As with mine. It was explained to me... Something about how the battery has chambers in it and out of the 8 in the battery I had only 3 were working. Hence why it shows the right voltage and has enough juice to do a few electrical things... But not enough to turn the starter motor... A new battery did the trick for me.

Just posted elsewhere too, but most disapointing that my 9 month old Motobatt seems to have given up the ghost already! Question is, can I find the reciept?!
