Quick question Glee clocks
« on: September 21, 2014, 13:07:04 »
Was wondering if anyone could help me find the close up photo of the Glee's clocks showing where the owner has drilled a small hole above the speedo to feed a Sat Nav power lead through. I have searched the forum upside down yesterday and this morning and cannot find it at all. Beginning to wonder if I've imagined it

I've finally bought myself a motorbike specific Sat Nav and I want to mount it above the clocks but I can't remember exactly where you drill the small hole. I'm sure it shows quite clearly whereabouts in the photo but I'm having a mare trying to find it.

Thanks for any help

I used one of the spare screen mounting holes to save cutting into the plastics.

Not a permanent solution but I squeeze the cable between the clocks and the housing. I only feed my Sat Nav power when it needs it  from a USB outlet fixed to the headlight metalwork. Works for me and I can also  use it to charge phone, mp3 etc.
I look quick therefore I am.

My Glee came with a Sat Nav mounted above the clocks. There is a small hole right on the edge of the panel above the clocks where it joins the panel behind the screen.

Stobie I ended up taking your advice and using one of the spare holes on the front of the bike. Why I never noticed that was possible before I don't know.

Nice clean tidy job now with no hole in my clocks..... Result
