Just a thought, but you haven't got a camera van operator stuck in the mudguard or somewhere in the front there have you?  :violence-uzi:

Wasn't on the checklist in the Haynes manual troubleshooting section  :shrug:

I had something similar with mine, very weird but not constant noise from the front.

Turns out that there was a small air bubble in the brake fluid which had caused uneven wear to the front pads, it was only when I applied them a little bit harder that I actually noticed .  Disks were fine though.

A mate has dropped the fluid and replaced the pads.  Noise eliminated and it now stops a lot quicker.

Done that as some of the bobbins were stuck ...... Calipers and pads cleaned as well .......
