Avon Distanzia
« on: July 19, 2014, 09:55:37 »
I see the new V Strom Adv 1000 has Avon Distanzia fitted I have used them on my HD MT 350 over the the last couple of years and have found them to be a very good and hard wearing tyre and look well on the bike.
I am just wondering would the same tyres fit the 650 has anyone tried them yet

The blokes on the DR-Z forum I use rate them for dual sport applications, more road biased obviously. You can check Oponeo.co.uk to see if they are available in Wee wheel sizes.

I had these on my Vee years ago and they are a good tyre. They have a fairly sporty profile and turn in very quickly with acres of grip in the dry. They give good feedback in the wet but don't have the same grip levels of Anakee 2's or3's. Great on horse poop & gravel too !
