FUEL INJECTION PROBLEMS.

2008 650 DL-- MY RED WARNING LIGHT ON MY CLOCK COMES ON AND THEN MY CLOCK FLASHES TIME AND F.I. ALTERNATIVELY . ACCORDING TO THE HANDBOOK I SHOULD TAKE THIS TO A DEALER.  nEXT TIME I START UP IT REVERTS TO NORMAL SETTING . EITHER WAY THE BIKE RUNS O K .  ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE OF THIS AND A CURE.  BY THE WAY HANDBOOK SAYS A FUEL INJECTION PROBLEM.  HELP PLEASE.  SAILOR BROWN,

thankyou Grey wolf , plugged into a diagnostic computor and it shows no error codes.  At the moment the bike seems to have corrected itself and is running as normal so I will see how it progresses. many thanks for your trouble.  Sailor Brown

If you want, you can ride it in dealer mode so the problem will display if it happens again. You can also carry a spare key and a paper clip so you can remove the seat and put the bike in dealer mode if you get another FI. If you turn off the ignition, old codes will be cleared from dealer mode access until they happen again. You can also locate a Suzuki dealer that has an SDS system. That allows reading old codes.
