I suggest getting it dirty so you can't see the scuffs any more :auto-dirtbike:

Ignore them!    Your colour is candy max orange (same as mine) and maybe this might do it?

It looks the same   seems like a handy kit to have. Your exact colour code should be in the service book. Mebbe contact the feller on ebay...

YME = Orange (Candy Max Orange) Tank, side & rear fairings

Some auto paint specialists will be able to fix you up with either a can or touch up tube. Even if they can't cross reference the colour from their data sheets, many now have a paint scanner that will analyse the colour of a part you take in and then mix an exact match for you.

Farecla G3 is a fantastic product: the newer version of it starts as a medium cutting compound but the particles abrade themselves as you use it so it becomes finer as you rub leaving a better finish. (just realised the advert posted says that too - Hello gran, here's how you suck eggs....)

Another good reason to use it is that there's no silicones in it so you can still paint if the G3 doesn't work without the hassle of decontaminating the substrate. Silicone is a complete shite around paint...

Depending on the extent & nature of the scuffs, you might be quicker using something like 1000/1500 wet & dry with soap before you cut it back with G3.
Seems pearl asbo orange is faster after all....

Doing a bit of research on the Farecla, I can't find anything on it being suitable for plastic work! Perhaps it heats up too much. Has anyone actually used this product on plastic fairings/cowls etc...

I've used it on painted plastics before without issue: spoilers & skirts on cars and panels on the TS. I wouldn't use it on bare plastic but painted & lacquered panels should be fine.
