fuse help

think I blown a fuse ,I have a [ chec ] code come up and it won't start ,but where is the fuse box

Check your kill switch first...

CHEC normally indicates the kill switch is not in the run position or the bike is in gear with the side stand down. The fuses are in the black box in front of the battery with "FUSE" cast in the top, but that's not your problem.

Could we be on for another red-faced "Oh yes, it was the kill switch" type post  

Make sure you own up if it is !

its not the kill switch    . I was putting in a auxillary fuse box and must of nocked  a coupling behind the battery   and now the battery is nearly dead [with keep trying to start it is on charge now ] but the fault is still intermitant   :wtf: peed off ,swapted the battery so meny times .but things are looking up its been running . plus must put a light in the garage [found and checked the fuses] . anyway thanks for the help

You may have found the one thing that causes a CHEC besides the kill switch or side stand switch. If those are okay, the ECM sends a signal to the display not to show a CHEC. If the system voltage is low or the connection from ECM to display is marginal, the signal from the ECM to the display might not get through and the CHEC is shown.
