New vstrom 1000 caught on the road pics

A Suzuki dealer I spoke to  speculated that  they would have bikes for test rides etc around March time although he suspected that end of November or thereabouts would see them having a showroom only model which seemed a bit of an odd thing to do.

A mate of mine asked why I bought the 650 last September, wondering why I didn't hang on because there were rumours of a new 1000. Pleased I didn't hang on.

I'd thank him - I think the DL1000 concept bike looks amazing - I'm seriously interested in one.

I'd been thinking of swapping both bikes (Strom & ZX6R) for a new sports bike next year - probably blade or GSXR750 - but the strom riding position and general "capability" has really grown on me in the few weeks I've owned it - it just need to be a bit more modern (sorry - the 'glee' does nothing for me) and have a few more horses - so this looks ideal.
