Ah! that may be why the clutch lever does not appear to be central in the guard.
Maybe they reduced the clearance at the top to gain space at the bottom and clear the modified switch.
The top spacer is not shown in any drawings.
The top of the bolt is fitted with a dome headed nut that looks nice but seems to be only decorative.
I am concerned that the bolt's plain shoulder on which the clutch lever pivots does not extend fully into the pivot and this will cause wear in the lever.
I think maybe I'll look at this again.
All this due to fitting up and back risers and B'king handle bars. Standard Glee bars twist my wrists somewhat.
