It might look a pig without it though, it's been designed with it in place. I'm hoping Suzuki see sense and sell an alternative  part without it.

With the GS's you can get a blanking panel to remove the beak . Let hope they make one for the new Vee ..

Locky, I like the idea of the 'blanking plate' where the red portion of beak goes...I predict some entrepreneur getting his hands on a new Vee and plastic-pressing within a week of it coming out! I think it could look good.
