Vstrom DL1000 front ht lead

I need to replace my lead on the front but I need to find out if anyone know where to get one from as on ebay its all from the states and I need it as soon as really. or if anyone knows of other bikes the leads would fit off id be very thankful

AFAIK the HT lead is not detachable from the coil pack. You'll have to replace the coil pack if there's a problem with the lead. All DL1000 and SV1000 use the same coil packs, but front and rear are different (just different HT lead lengths as far as I can tell.) Try searching for an SV1000 one if you can't find a DL1000 one.

wasn't sure about the sv 1000 I did hear they would fit and yea I know its the whole coil which is a little bit of a ball ache, thanks for the help don't seem be many around in the uk

Usually, all you need to do to get a better spark if there is a lead problem is unscrew the boot from the lead, cut off 1/4" from the wire end, and screw the boot back on.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
