Electrical Connection - "12v switched source"
« on: July 13, 2013, 19:19:10 »
I want to clarify my understanding of the wiring for the relay that will connect to my new fuse box. Terminal 86 on the relay is marked as "12v Switched Source".

Does this simply mean a 12v source that is controlled by turning the ignition switch on or off?

An orange/green wire like the one to the rear brake switch is a good source. It is only hot when the ignition is on.
