Are you bidding on DL1000 seat on ebay?
« on: June 19, 2013, 16:21:17 »
Item 330940429130. Having just agreed to by a wee-strom I'm interested in getting a DL1000 seat for it as I'm a bit cramped.

I don't want to end up in a bidding war with someone here so if you're bidding on this let me know and I'll stay away......

That is not just a Vee seat, it's a touring seat, it's +20mm on a Vee seat and +40mm on a Wee seat. I have a 32" inside leg and I'd be on me toes if I had a seat like that. A standard Vee seat is flat foot for me on the Wee (my rear spring is a Hyperpro so my bike doesn't sag as much as standard.)

I am watching it with a view to bidding on it, having a 33" inside leg the touring seat should bring the seat up to where I need it.  :)

Looks a nice comfy seat. He says he got it last year but according to the post (see link) it was April 2010!

Ooer, same here except I'm 34" and I find the thou seat on mine is still a bit low. But as I recently bought jack up links I guess I should really try fitting them first......so the field is yours Paul, I will not bid :thumb:

Just wait till the snipers get in in the last 10 seconds....

I have to admit I use this technique myself after having been beaten to the line several times (but not in this case as I'm being sorted out by Mad Phil of this parish). Although some think it's not "sporting" it is a method open to all.
