Vango Banchee 300 Tent
« on: May 30, 2013, 11:00:24 »
Hi,

I bought a Vango Banchee 300 tent (3 man) to go on tour in France this summer. I now don't need it as the Mrs is coming so am going to be sharing a 6 man one.

It has only been used once, I tested it out in the New Forest. It is as new, no damage.
This is a proper outdoors tent. It is not the rubbish that you get in Tesco.
You won't get it new below £105. I bought it for £119:

I would like £60 for it, keeping in mind it will cost me a fair wack to deliver.

PM if interested.

Heatha,

Funnily enough I saw a tent just like this when I was camping at Ochnell in the new forest last weekend ( was that you?) and I said to my boy that's a good tent. If you still have it I'll buy it off you :lala:

Heatha is in France until next wednesday. I'll make him aware of the above as soon as he's back.

Although mines red

I got  the vango Tempest 300 thinking it would be big enough but after looking round the tents at the Squires meet I changed it for this one. http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/omega-350-tent-p183910

Lots more room and only slightly heavier. Also used the Go Outdoors price match and got an even better deal..

If you needed to get three men in that Banshee (sic) 300, they would need to be damn good friends, or things could get unpleasant.

A 2 man tent is ideal for 1 man, and a 3 for 2 ....

Not to easy to get in and out in the pissing rain  :rain: , also Al its not a very tall tent if that's what your after.

All said its a good tent, light and compact

Sadly,

The Mrs has decided that it's Not big enough for the boths ( although I never said it was for her as well  :shy: )

So I have withdrawn my offer for this tent :GRR:

Hope you get another buyer soon mate!

Thanks mate. Just got back from France. We were down in Millau. Beautiful down there and the Vee did me proud.
On the Monday we were hit 'Le Mistrals', the famous winds... Think it went up to 54mph. Several trees came down but my Vango Icarus 500 stayed up.

It's a shame this one is too small for you, but I still definitely recommend you get a Vango mate!
