I recommend that you not fall over after mounting them, they will be in between the ground and the bars/something else :)

Or mount them on the rad shield like me. Don't look at the rust.

I got a few blokes from ST6 to send me the info for the lights they had fitted . I'm ordering these when I've decided on what engine bars I'm getting

Most seem to mount them on the outside of the bars or on top of the bars where they will get hit in a fall. I like your mounting location better, putbinoot :thumb:

Locky, will you have to buy a separate bar clamp/mount for those?

Engine bar clamps are expensive. I used armoured cable cleats, different sizes available depending on the girth of your bars. These mounted ontop of a bed of wrap or two of insulation tape save you tons of cash. They cost pennies. Have a look at mine at Squires if you're going. If you know width of your engine bars before the meet let me know ill fetch some along (I sell electrical gear for a living ,so can get them cheap).

Thanks Mitch  :thumb:

I have various sizes of Armoured Cleats in my Man Cave, I'll have a look.

Top tip  :)

Juv, I don't want you thinking for a moment that I would be silly enough to go to the time, effort and cost of fitting Running Lights to my Engine Bars because there is a tiny scratch on them and I want to cover it.

That would be ludicrous  :shy:

Fat Rat,
Do they come with a dimming module?
The might well be illegal after dark if you can't dim them down to about 30% of full brightness.
The bikevis ones I have come with an electronic module which switches them on when engine has started and turns  them off 20 seconds after the engine has been shut off. A hot wire from the rear light feed through a small rocker switch lets me change from day time running lights to night time running lights. You might not be able to use them at night. They'll be brighter than you think.

Just had a closer look. The ones in your link look to be the bikevis V2 cree lights only without the control unit.
