If it helps being seen by other road users and is not causing any danger to other drivers it can only help in my eyes to get noticed. different if your coming down the road with 2000 lumen spotlights pointing all over the show blinding other road users. there has to be a certain amount of common sense used, but I guess the law has a different view.

It was my post you commented on about the bike vis bullets being used as tailights/brakelights

I do agree that common sense should rule, like pulsing brake lights, any thing that help get you noticed must be a good idea.
But you only have to get an unreasonable police officer with a downer on motorcyclits and you can end up with a fine of even points.

Oh I agree. Not a rant at u just the daft side of the law. But I guess one ideas common sense would differ to another.

With the snow melting I was finally able to get into the garage and fit the lights, also fitted led numberplate light. Ran the cables through number plate light housing following that wiring.
Just got the front ones to do now

Having read this thread and considered the PodMod for my previous bike I contacted BikeViz to ask about the legality of using the PodMod on UK roads. They were unable to advize on whether it was infact legal to use the PodMod given that it 'flashed' the lights.

This was enough to make me stear clear of the PodMod unit, but I will eventually purchase another set of BikeViz bullets for my wee.

Just thought you might like to know.
