02 eleminator
« on: October 06, 2012, 11:24:46 »
Hi all, My last bike, a 1250 bandit, had surging problems in the 2000 to 4000 rpm range caused by lean running at low rpm. I bought an o2 eliminator off the bay and it made a huge difference to smooth running. Now the new glee is nowhere near as bad but have noticed it a bit. The connector block is the same as the bandit but when tried, the bike runs great but FI light comes on and stays on, after 5 seconds at idol. All the o2 eliminator is 'I think' is an in line resistor so could it be a case of needing a slightly different resistance? 20 pence and a bit of solder instead of £17 for the resistor and connector block! Can anyone electronically minded shed some light.

There isn't any problems with the Wee (650) fuelling, in fact, its probably one of the bikes with the best FI around. There's no surging or anything anywhere so no point in messing with it.
