Rapid Bike Easy MOD
« on: June 12, 2012, 21:51:23 »
Has anyone seen this MOD?

http://web.dimsport.com/rapidbike/rapidbike.php#tab1.

I found and add in the RIDE magazine and on their website it looks very simp Plug and Play. Anything that would increase number of miles I do per gallon is always a bonus.

Maybe someone has got it installed?

It's been my experience any device claiming better performance in an area by simply adding it to a stock engine falls into one of the following camps.

1. It does absolutely nothing except change what the rider thinks, which is often enough.
2. It hurts performance and possibly causes damage.
3. It actually improves some aspect but other aspects suffer, like improved mileage drops power and smoothness.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Yes, you'd definitely be saving fuel with Marina installed  -  you would never get oot though!

Reading all your reviews I think I will give it a miss and invest in fork brace for better control.
