Bike not starting
« on: June 07, 2012, 11:00:02 »
I got all togged up this morning to take the bike for it's MOT ... it won't start!

I'd changed the air filter for a K&N  a few days ago, but have ridden the bike around 6 miles since then to check all OK.

Turns over fine, petrol pump working - spat loads of fuel over my leg.

It did eventually start, sounded as though on one cylinder to begin with, then eventually on both.  :lala:

It's a Suzuki V-strom, it's reliable, what gives?

Any clues as to what it might be?  Always kept in a lovely warm garage.

I'm meant to be going camping near Ilfracombe this weekend, despite the rain.

TIA  :)

I had to look that one up!  'fraid not, return to where I was born  :)  travelling all the way from sunny Weston super Mare - got one of those as well?  :)

Mind you, blowing a gale tonight, not sure if my tent will last the weekend!
