Improve the front brake of 250 V-Strom

Hello,
How to simply improve the bite of the front brake on the 250? You have to really tighten the handle, for just average braking ...
Is it a question of breaking in, I just bought it and it has 2000 kms ... Change the pads?

The cheapest upgrade would be a sintered set of pads first but they'd wear your brake disc faster .

Have a look at EBC FA226HH on  Fleabay.I threw he original Suzuki wall tiles away when I first got the bike and fitted EBC HH and it transformed the brakes.
