Back on the road
« on: December 15, 2008, 13:42:49 »
Well I'm back on the road again. Still got a few bits to do to the bike, but it is able to go on the road. Hope to get the MOT done next week so that I can get my insurance back up to fully comp.

Me happy

Still better than using the van to get to work Andy. Takes about 20min on the bike, in the van it is 40-60 min, and this is not even speeding just being able to filter.

Still got to get the MoT done yet. It's just a requirement of my insurance company to prove that I have done the work. They will then put my insurance back to fully comp, as at the moment they have reduced it to Third Party Only. Basically, so that I can't claim again without the work being done, as apparently it has happened before. Someone writes a vehicle off, claim they have fixed it and claim on the insurance again.

Nothing that can't be fixed as they say...

Handlebar deformed
Front Suspension assembly component excessively misaligned

We can repair it.... Booked in to the dealers on the 12th Jan bugger is that I can't use it in the mean time

Seems like an ideal opportunity to blame your mate :GRR:

Well after the ups and downs of my bike. I have finally got it back on the road. It's all MOTed and sorted :D

Just need to get the insurance back up to fully comp now. Best bit is, I did not even have any advisaries for it.
