Kings of the road
« on: March 21, 2011, 21:06:05 »
Is it just my imagination or do car drivers all drive on the crown of the road these days? I didn't notice it so much before I got back on 2 wheels (maybe that's my answer...).
I thought you were supposed to keep to the nearside unless there were good reasons to position yourself at the crown of the road. I even see it on A roads with a clear road ahead of them - glued to the crown of the road...
It does make it more difficult to get past people sometimes especially when filtering.
Not moaning (well perhaps a little) just curious...

Good point, also being able to see past the vehicles in front.

I think it's mostly because they're on the phone and it's easier to feel where you are gonig by driving over the cat's eye's.... You know it's true.
