Hi all,
Well, I'm back! Completed the planned trip in 88 days riding from the most northerly point accessable by road in Alaska to the most southernly point accessable in Argentina, a total of 24,500 miles.
I have to say that the wee's never missed a beat the entire trip! they were far from ideal but incredible all the same considering the abuse they had.
All we had to do was normal wear and tear items such as chain and sprokets and brake pads. I don't think many bikes could boast such a good record, and that was not just my wee but Georges too! His did have a little harder time that mine after he went cartwheeling up the road, but the bike is still going strong!!
All in all it was an incredible trip, we had more time to enjoy places than we thought and covered the miles with relitive ease, allowing for plenty of good nights out with locals in the 14 countrys we passed.
So all in all it was a hughe success, completed on time, within budget (a bloody tight one at that) and just over expected mileage.
Now its back to work...  :violin:
All the pictures are on the website.

Hats off to you two blokes...It's a great read, inspiring. Makes me realise I probly wouldn't survive it these days, to be honest!
Write it up as a book for next Christmas?!!    :thumb:

Hi, thanks all, and I am glad you enjoyed reading abiut it.
Georges ribs are OK I think, I've not heard from him but he seems to be fixing the bike himself so can't be too bad! Anyway he only broke two of them :haha:
