2024 mileage
« on: January 03, 2025, 09:53:51 »
Was it the weather? Whenever I wasn't doing grandad duties it was  :rain:
Was it my two riding pals stopped riding  :icon_crutch:  and   :old:
Only 4070 miles last year
XJ600                 1369
Guzzi Special       1014
Guzzi Stone         1409
Enfield 500          278
2025 might be a little better now that  Steve has an all metal bionic thigh :text-woo:  and Pep has bought a Triumph Bobber although it's not yet home and "she who must be obeyed" hasn't been informed nor forgiveness bestowed  :angry-tappingfoot:.

This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Similar to me, both mileage and reasons. Neither of my bikes has turned a wheel since end of October, partly weather, partly child minding duties, partly work on the house. I'm champing at the bit atm but with current temperatures and forecast it won't be this week either. Hopefully next week will improve a bit.
Next 'major' ride will be in February, when I tramp up to Betws y coed with a few mates for Dragon weekend.

Only owned one bike this year, my Honda Forza 300, and did 4,600 miles. My new 2025 Honda ADV 350 has arrived at the dealer :happydance: and will be delivered to me next week, so my 2025 mileage will be split again between 2 bikes, mostly on the ADV  - probably.

Last year I got 4,000 miles on the Tiger (nearly half of them during a trip to Lake Garda, around 800 miles on the big Victory and about 300 on the Tranny. If we get better weather that number will rise as I'm retired!
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'
